2021 Annual HIPAA Privacy and Security Training

Technology has become integrated into everyday life and medical practices alike.  Along with that automation and ease of access comes the risk of internal errors and the dreaded “data breach”.  Privacy and security violations come in all shapes and sizes with some well-known companies and millions of Americans impacted in recent years.  Medical practices are particularly are risk from both internal and external security gaps that result in stiff fees and penalties.  Know what you can do now to protect your practice and comply with the most current regulations.  All HIPAA covered entities are required to provide this training to new hires and to all staff at least yearly.  This course meets all federal guidelines for HIPAA Compliance training. Each participant will receive a 50 minute Compliance session followed by a brief quiz. A certificate of completion will be generated with a passing score.
